Vigne di Malies
The Vigne di Malies winery is a small family-run business that, in the heart of Sannio Beneventano, produces the great native wines of the area. The Foschini family, proudly manages its vineyards with responsible production methods, in an artisanal and sustainable way.
Falanghina, Aglianico, Greco, Fiano, Coda di Volpe are vines of very ancient origins, already known in pre-Roman times, which in the inland area of Campania acquire a unique body and character. The search for the perfect balance between the most advanced technologies and respect for nature and its times allows us to obtain wines of great quality, in full respect of local traditions and with the least possible impact on the environment.
Even the choice of name connotes this company's strong attachment to the territory: "malies" is the Greek word found engraved on a coin dating back to the 4th century B.C. and from which in later centuries the name Benevento was derived, while the boar "stolato" ready for sacrifice is a symbol of the city.
