Aglianico Riserva Creanzia takes its name from the Latin Creantia, things that make grow and from the Spanish Criar, to raise, to educate. Creanzia in Spanish means the controlled process of aging and maturation of wine. The wines in Malies Vineyards' Creanzia line are aged, special, "well-behaved" products thanks to the love of its winemakers.
Deeply colored and vanilla-scented, Creanzia Aglianico Riserva wine has notes of licorice, black pepper and leather that precede the pleasantness of tobacco and balsamic notes of eucalyptus. Ideal on baked lasagna, cannelloni, tagliatelle with meat sauce and to finish on braised wild boar and roasts.
